Basic for streaming protocols

1. Two important parts of video streaming
- streaming: deals with how bytes get from one place to another.
- encoding: deals with how images and videos are converted into bytes and back.

--> To run a video streaming we need:
- A support for the right streaming protocol, and
- A support for appropriate encoding.

2. Streaming Protocols
- RTP families
+ RTP: a transport protocol which is built on UDP and designed specifically for real-time transfer.
+ RTSP:

- RTMP

- HTTP live streaming

- Microsoft smooth streaming

- BitTorrent live streaming
